Every time I go past this stupid little reflection pond at my school (it's actually quite nice) I stop for a few minutes to scoop up any beetles, bees, fireflies, moths, grasshoppers and other little critters that are treading water for dear life. All you really need is something floaty for them to climb onto so they can dry off and fly away, but you have to make sure that the maintenance people won't remove it, too. 

I've never been more proud.
