i converted the Blue Pill board to a BlackMagic Probe ... and i have successfully connected to the bare SAMD11
i have not yet programmed anything but the chip reports itself on the SWD line

Received my boards!  Very cute :-)

I think I understand the MacOS changes needed, once the package is installed, but the IDE board manager won't even download because it says "Bossac is not available for your OS." :-(
Manual download and move to sketchbook/hardware?

How much space does the USB bootloader need? (=how much flash is left for user application?)

Really cool project. Got the hardware assembled and bootloader installed. Got Atmel Studio to blink the LED easily using the ASF framework examples. Thanks for sharing all of the PCB designs, etc. Anyone else assemble this and get the blink sketch to work via Arduino IDE? For some reason I can't seem to get it to work

Is there a quick start guide/basic steps list for this board if I havent programmed aruino?

Is the bootloader built in - do I need any other programmers?

Hi bobricius, This is great.  I'm also working on a tiny samd11 board. How are you building the SAM-BA bootloader?

I am using amazing Mattairtech arduino core .... I just click on burn bootloader button in arduino IDE ... link to core ... https://github.com/mattairtech/ArduinoCore-samd

thanks, for your vote 😋 I am decided for latest desing with only one led. It is more compact, smaller and easy solder wihout resistor net.
