StereoVision Distance Measuring

The system will use two cameras to track an object and provide a distance to the object of interest.

Similar projects worth following
The project will use a Xilinx Zynq SoC and OV2640 cameras to track an object on interest and return the distance to the object. The user interface will be controlled over a web server generated by the linux running on the the Zynq. The object tracking and distance measurement will be accomplished with OpenCV and VHDL running on the Zynq. The image capturing will be done with VHDL on the FPGA and then the linux OS will have access to the camera feed.

Awesome project! did you put it on github? I'm doing a similar project with stereo vision, FPGAs and OV2640 and I need some guidance...

Thanks!

Excellent. I'm doing some CV work that would be better (and more quickly) done with an FPGA. Please update this project when you release.
