Pupil Tracker using IR sensors

Using the minimum hardware for pupil tracking

This project searches to offer an alternative system as compared to video-based systems for pupil tracking, trying to obtain a competitive accuracy and precision. The main idea is to reduce the complexity of the hardware and software of these systems.

Have you figured out how far off axis you'll be able to detect?  Might this be used to detect strabismus?

Hi Chris, I am preparing the prototype yet. But my sensors work well with a maxim range of 3cm. I want to apply sensors over one eye, maybe if we have 2 prototypes would be easy to detect strabismus.

I will publish more info as soon as posible.

Thanks for your comment!

Great Idea! It sounds like a more clever solution to eye tracking than using a webcam like most of other projects does!
