The main problem of all the home automation projects is ... You have to login to someone else's server to create an account to use it. I would like to see someone create a Home automation solution that uses an Arduino Uno or MEGA,  WITHOUT using someone else's server.  Maybe using an ESP8266-12 or a NRF24L01 group of boards. I refuse to log into someone else's server to transmit / receive my data.

Hi Rui, your is very interesting project. I'm on an Arduino based smarthome framework, that create a local network on boards, it would be nice having your work on the server side.
