It has a been a little while since I have been active in the maker stuff because I had to move and lots of life happening. However, We are back and hitting the ground running. I am going to start adding to this project for a bit. I am currently assembling a 3D printed centrifuge. The novel features of this particular centrifuge are modularity, ease of construction and using off the shelf and recycled components. One of the key components for recycling are the battery and we will get more in detail of that later. The basics are that we are using DJI smart batteries that are no longer safe for flying a drone and re-purposing them to medical and lab equipment that can be built anywhere in the world. These batteries have lots of life left in them for low amperage usage such as monitors, computers etc.
