The objective of this project is to provide a simple and easy way for kids to notify parents they are home via internet.

The device connects to the internet via a NodeMCU module. A single tactile button is attached to the NodeMCU module.

Upon the pressing of the button, NodeMCU connects to the house wifi network and through an IFTTT account, sends a notification to the parents' cell phones.

The device will be assembled with a breadboard and jumper wires. It will be powered by batteries. The device will be housed in a plastic box and be placed at the entrance of the house for easy access.
