Story 1 ：Word of the mouth

• Signification

Word of the mouth is a meaning full for everyone, also even me too. My experience  of this can start from 10 years ago, that time I'm just 15 years old it happened in my middle school, I have a good friend call Loong, no matter what kind of things I always will tell for him, include my secret. Once time I tell him my secret that I like the girl from other classes, after that he go to tell to other people, how ever I tell you, you tell him/her, they tell to each other, like this continuous circulation everyone know about that secret, from since then I fell very shy and angry because everyone know about my secret.

the 'word of mouth.' is a very terrifying phenomenon.

Meaning/Cause

-One people talk some message to 10 people, and then the 10 people will share the message to hundred people.

-Almost everyone can know the message.
-Whether it is true or not, is similar like social media conveying information.

• Question

1. Will they share the message to other people?
2. Why they share the message?
3. What are the message about?

• Belief

-The  word of mouth is not 100% complete.

-Some of the message is was changed when people share the message to other person.

-More people share the message, more the people will know and share the message. 

• Idea & Concept

-Use the concept from the story “King with donkey ears.”

-Use a 2 flower pot, 1 pot is for record the sound and it’s connect other one pot is receiving the sound.
-The Pot for receiving got plant, the leaf/flower of the plant have many speaker on there to convey the message.
-Let people say some keyword secret on the recording pot in the unconscious, wait for the 5 second the receiving pot will play broadcast the message at the same time.
-The idea is want to bring out “the word of the mouth is actually the secret is cannot be hidden, when we speak out everyone can know”.

Story 2：Gaze

• Signification

Gaze is the thing that away make me loathe those gaze from the eyes is make me feeling ugly of the people. Experience from me that time when I'm sick feel not very well in the shopping center, suddenly I want to vomit can't catch up to go toilet I vomit beside shop lot, luckily  there has no too much people look at me, from that moment I feel very shy and awkward, because their use the gaze that I think like flummox and despise to look at me, after that their gaze is keep make me recall that memory, I don't know that they will thinking, but is memory is humiliation for me.

Meaning/Cause

-When we are doing something that make people confuse, angry, or unable to understand, they will look at you will different gaze.

-Those gaze is make you feel uncomfortable.

• Question

1. Why they look at you?
2. What we feel when the different gaze look at you? 
3. What we will do when we are looking by those gaze?

• Belief

-Everyone have different gaze.

-Some of the gaze like admire, hate, and other different felling.

-Usually will make we feel uncomfortable and awkward.

• Idea

-Set up one carpet path, both sides has a model person.

-People will walk on the carpet, when the person close to the model, the model will open their eyes and look at the person, and also the head will turn to the direction of the person.

-The model will look at the person until he/she get to the end, the model closed the  eyes and turn the head back.
-This idea maybe will make people uncomfortable and scary when the gaze of model look at them.

Story 3：Echo

• Signification

Echo is a most fun thing to 'play‘, it something like deep echo mountain, opposite can echo the sound and I has be play a field times when I was kids, but after that time I never play anymore, so what I want is try to find a place or I make one.

• Meaning/Cause

-Curious echo direction.

-Try different volume and hear how many message can get it from echo.

-Some echo will communicate unclear message.

• Question

1. How loud is the echo volume?
2. How many message we can hear from echo?
3. How is the echo generated?

• Belief

-Any space has the possibility of echo.

-The echo can’t be the same volume.
-The range of echo is not just one direction.

• Idea

-Create the cave in one space, inside the cave is darker and empty.
-Inside the cave also hanging a speaker that can make an echo.
-People can stand outside the cave and shout, their sound can be record and then speaker is echo the sound.

Learning Lesson

• Learn about interactive installation part of coding by using Arduino & Processing software.
• Learn how to make a connection circuits and also the code.

Opinion:

This is the first time that I learn how the circuits connect to other accessories, the code can be make them work this is very awesome and magical! but some of the part for coding is make me confuse some times, but is not a big problems to me, just need a time to absorb and understand.
