Miniature Flux Capacitor

The goal is to have a miniature flux capacitor which can be used to indicate fire switch having been pressed in a mod.

Similar projects worth following
24.43 x 33.02mm, this is going to be tiny. Using 0603 components and an soic-8 555 as well as an soic-16 4017 based decade counter. A 100K pot will be used to adjust the speed of the chasing LEDs.

Currently awaiting proto-boards from oshpark.

it's been done, and VERY nicely, I might add. I was fortunate to have helped out in a small consulting capacity.

I know it's been done, but NOT for the same end use purpose. One of the reasons I'm doing this is for my own edification... It will never be housed in  a standalone replica case, at least not by me.

It IS a nice project that tiny lil keychain version, seen it around. I did consider buying one at one point, but figured I might as well give it a go myself. Glad to know there are more peeps like me who have fun doing this stuff.

I have taken great care to number the led's sensibly in diptrace schematic before placing them in the rows. should be good.

i run a group on fb called moxbods. Geared towards diy vaping mods, but it is for anything electronics related really, have a look if you like.
