Assembly of a Cycloidal gearbox that hopefully solves the backlash problem with 3D printed
gearboxes.
Tightening the string increases the pre-load and stops the backlash.

what's the maximum weight can this actuator hold?

I have also studied your previous design. Would not using rolling pins between cycloidal gears and outer shell decrease the friction and hence increase the efficiency, just like your previous design? Did you changed this ensure preload?
Thank you for this very good project!

I'm VERY impressed by how clever this is -- do you have parametric files anywhere for me so I might modify the designs a bit and print them out? Thanks

I will do some tests and let you know.

Paul, I'm looking at your project with interest.
How much less is the backlash compared to the originally designed actuator?
