Seed 3.14 is a "subsidiary" of the Pi -Day team, which is a university student group based at the University of Western Attica and participates in the CanSat in Greece student competition. The CanSat in Greece student competition is a nationwide space competition. This competition is aimed at undergraduate students and aims to become familiar students with technologies similar to those used in a satellite. Students are required to build a mini-satellite in the size of a soft drink box designed to perform a mission. This satellite launches at an altitude of one kilometer and on its landing performs a primary mission which is common for all and a secondary mission that is separate from each group. The mission of the group has as primary mission is the reception of atmospheric pressure, temperature measurements and telemetry.

“Seed Bombing” is the secondary mission which we decide to fulfill for our team.

More specifically as soon as our satellite reaches the appropriate altitude, through a special mechanism, it will begin releasing large quantities of seed, in order to reforest inaccessible areas from the ground. the process requires a complex circuit of electrical components which needs to be carefully, thoroughly printed and of high quality materials. So we immediately contacted JlC PCB , a company known for the detailed and high quality PCBs needed for our PCB. Go check them out at https://jlcpcb.com/
