Nice project. But why not use a battery from am electric drill. As it is 3d printed it should be easy to support the most common brands.
Battery would likely increase the weight quite a bit, and would require more support structure (if I had to guess), which costs more filament. Certainly still an interesting modification idea
There is a plan to make a new version with a battery from a drill. Stay tuned ;)

The battery probably needs to go underneath the grip so it stays balanced in the hand. You could have a mounting spot for various adapter plates there. Guess some flat, boxy batteries work best. Unless you want to have a stick battery that fits into the grip itself.
