Planck Cyberdeck

A 3D printed design of a Cyberdeck around a Raspberry pi3b and a self soldered planck keyboard.

Similar projects worth following
The design of the cyberdeck is fully 3D printed. The goal is to have a display, a raspbery pi3 and a keyboard for it. The keyboard is a self soldered teensy 2.0 board running TMK.
This design does not make room for a battery.

The STL files are linked feel free to use them.

Hihi!  I was wondering what size display this deck uses?  It's amazing and I really want to build one, especially since I have a spare planck keyboard laying around.  Thanks, and great work!

lmao anyone else notice that the keys on the keyboard are random instead of QWERTY?

It’s not random,

”The layout takes its name from the first six letters to appear on the first row of alphabetical keys; that is, (A Z E R T Y). Similar to the German QWERTZ layout, it is modelled on the English QWERTY layout. It is used by most French and Flemish speakers based in Europe,(...)”

Awesome mini deck, I'm trying to figure out a planck+ for a deck i've been working on. You should drop by the Cyberdeck group https://discord.gg/s8wqtpe

I'll make sure to come by. Is plank+ a 60% ortholinear ? Sounds like an interesting concept.

Fantastic design. Do you have any images of the internals? Would love to see more of how it was put together.

Thank you. I'll add some photographs soon. What the design lacks though is nice cabling between the RPI the Keyboard and the display. I have yet to find a proper solution for this.
