Have your Wio Terminal type your passwords. The sketch for the Seeed Wio Terminal reads a list of encrypted passwords from a file on the SD card and displays them on the screen of a Wio Terminal. The selected password is typed to your computer by emulating a keyboard. This works for Windows, macOS, Linux, RaspberryPi and even on iPads. The passwords are stored encrypted with the XXTEA algorithm. A simple python script is provided to create a file with encrypted passwords.

This application for the Wio Terminal by Seeed Studio reads a list of encrypted passwords from a file "/crypted.txt" on the SD card and displays them on the screen of a Wio Terminal.

Once you have unlocked the software by keying in your master passcode, you can select an entry from the list by filtering and browsing with the 5-way joystick of the Wio Terminal. A password entry is selected by pressing the 5-way joystick.

The password is then typed to your computer by emulating a keyboard. This works for Windows, macOS, Linux, RaspberryPi and even on iPads.

You switch between filter and list views by pressing the leftmost button.

    Hi,

PasswordVault can now be bought on Tindie. You receive a Wio Terminal with preinstalled PasswordVault software.

Of course, you can still simply install the PasswordVault open source software on a Wio Terminal you already own. This is even easier now that the software is distributed as UF2 file.

Just download the UF2 file from the latest release of our Github repository and simply drag it to the Arduino drive. The software starts automatically. Now, of course, you need to copy your passwords to a micro SD card. There are instructions and a python script on Github,

I look forward to your feedback :)

Release 1.10 is the first release we provide as simple to install UF2 file. To install, pull the reset switch on the left side of the Wio Terminal twice. A new drive named ARDUINO will appear in your finder / explorer. Just drag the file passwordvault-v1.10.uf2 there to install it.

The user features are identical to v1.8 which are described in our wiki.
