Kindle has a feature to determine remaining reading time. Can such feature be implemented for paper books as well? How?
I've trained a neural network with hundreds of page turn sounds and also some minutes of room silence.
You can setup book total pages with a potentiometer, then just read the book and this little device will determine when a page turn occurs and present remaining reading time.
Interesting device, I'm sure they will come in handy somewhere. I would like to try it. Just recently wrote about a profile essay, found https://papersowl.com/examples/profile-essay/ for that. And I'd like to know how many things I've re-read. I'm too lazy to do it myself because it takes a lot of time, but when a machine does it for you, it's cool.
