Similar projects worth following
Having observed my grandparents and now my parents who are all medicine eaters, I have realized the importance of taking them timely. This pandemic has made me see their routines up-close.

This has made me think about how many times we might skip the medicines in this hurry race of everyday life. On deeper thought, I have come across the obstacles of Alzheimer patients whose routine would be forgetting but can't really afford to.

This device is used as a reminder to take medicines on time with the onboard dispenser. The project is done using the alarm on a DS3231 with the Adafruit RTClib library. Set an alarm on the DS3231 RTC module and monitor its status using the alarm fired function. The board used is Arduino UNO.

This project is version 1.0. I would like to make this better user-friendly to all, specific to those with Alzheimer's.

Main points:
- Medicine reminder with LED and a buzzer
- tonic dispenser

Working:

The buzzer will ring at a time when the medicine has to be taken. The LED lights are for respective medicine only. Once the push button has been pressed the buzzer and the LED will turn off.

The tonic dispenser has a D.C motor to pump the tonic when the push button is used.
