Chest Mounted computer with HMD and handheld input. Simple and effective.

This idea started off as more of a custom DIY project but due to time constraints and my other desk-ish project it became just a bunch of off the shelf components and a computer. Still, the functionality is all here and works perfectly!

This is a GPD MicroPC computer mounted to a 3d printed rail with switch controllers and an HMD. The MicropPC started off broken with no screen but I was able to fix it (unfortunately), as it might have had slightly more utility without it. HMD display is in 720p and best of all allows you to maintain periphery vision and hearing. For input, I use a handheld ball mouse or a handheld keyboard with trackpad, the regular keyboard and trackpad work great too when detached from the chest. Switch controllers are for driving robots and can be removed at will. Usb wifi sniffers plug in on top. Pockets hold all the stuffs.

Sorry for the terrible pictures but this is summited at the last-second!

Got a back harness section and a battery pack to tear down for external power. Now just need some more time....
