A simple module that connects to the charge controller via RS485, reads the data, and sends them to a web server. It also reads the data or settings from the server and sends them back to the controller. This solution will allow you to:

  • Real-time monitoring of your solar system
    • Panel volatage/ current
    • Battery voltage / current
    • Load voltage / current
    • Charging mode
    • Charge status (SOA)
    • Temperature
    • Charging current
  • Full history – you can search and display data from the past
  • Alarms sent via SMS or e-mail if:
    • SOC is over or under the set value
    • Temperature is over the set value
    • The system is disconnected from the internet
  • Statistical data and summaries for every day, month, and year
  • Change the settings of your solar system like:
    • Battery type
    • Battery capacity
    • High V disconnect
    • Charging limit voltage
    • Overvoltage reconnect
    • Equalization voltage
    • Boost voltage
    • Float voltage
    • Boost reconnect voltage:
    • Low voltage reconnect
    • Under voltage recover
    • Under voltage warning
    • Low voltage disconnect
    • Discharging limit voltage
    • Temperature upper limit
    • Temperature upper limit recover
    • Nighttime threshold
    • Light signal startup delay
    • Day time threshold
    • Light signal off delay
    • Equalisation duration
    • Boost duration
    • Discharging
    • Charging
    • Update RTC of the unit
    • Depend on charge status (ie turn on the load if the battery is fully charged, turn off the load when the battery charge is less than 50%, etc.
    • Timer control
    • Manual On/Off control
  • Turn the load on or off

You can do all of the above from your mobile phone or browser.

With an additional relay shield, you can control up to 4 different devices in the same manner as the load. For example, this will allow you to turn the hot water system on when the battery is fully charged or before you need it. It can be also very useful for an irrigation system etc.
