ScanR was made per specific requirements and the application. The main idea was to create a hassle-free device. It has to scan the barcode compare it with the built-in database, record the timestamp, and generate a daily report with specific data.

It is a handled device meant to be operated daily in the field by scanning several barcodes consecutively and generating reports in real-time. At the end of the day, these would be copied from an SD card or sent directly over the wifi already formatted in the required format ready to be presented to the managing body.
