    Hi guys,
Thanks to courtesy and cooperation with @PCBWay Official we got new black solder mask PCBs for both types of LVDS to HDMI converters. Additionally, @PCBWay allowed us to order a backlight converter PCB (there is no project listed on Hackaday now) which is a complementary project for driving LCD matrix from an HDMI port. More on that project soon.

PCB looks the same but wiring is different between LVDS and HDMI converters. In most cases, you will have just one standard VESA which is most common but some LCDs also uses JEIDA.

    Backlight converter PCB 's:

As I mentioned it's not listed yet on Hackaday but the backlight is fully configurable via I2C port and can be driven via HDMI I2C bus. It can support different setups of LED backlights with different currents and voltages. More about this project soon.

    Have fun,

    Rafal

Just published project information. We have working solution for both JEDA and VESA and its working as real project. Right now I redesing it to work as custom board and can be used separately without backling board which is much bigger in size.  In next few weeks I will record working example videos.
