This project created a 3D printed tool that attaches to the end a pole. The tool has a deployment head and a removal head. This tool was created so that decorations could be placed in trees without the use of a ladder. Watch the video .
The ground around trees is often soft which allows the legs of the ladder to sink into the ground unevenly. The ground is often not flat. Some trees are cone shaped making it hard to reach the higher levels of the tree. Each year, there are more than 164,000 emergency room-treated injuries and 300 deaths in the U.S. that are caused by falls from ladders. The tool has an optional camera arm that allows a close up view when a long pole is employed. The Hmude 2023 Upgraded Mini Camera HD 1080P Home Security Camera Detector - Indoor Camera Home Security Camera Wireless WiFi Camera from amazon was used. The parts are fastened together with 2 mm and #6 drywall screws. The camera has a magnetic back that attaches to a large washer glued to the printed part .

Sorry, I live in a no fly zone near an airport :(  Maybe someone else can run with the idea.
