This headphone amplifier, in addition to its conventional use, can be connected to the output of the signal adder, to monitor the sound that comes out of the console. You can also use it as a preamplifier, when the computer signal from the video jukebox is very weak.

Another great feature is its use in video jukeboxes with a laptop that carry the amplifier in the speakers or speakers. This strengthens the signal and thus prevents the filtering of noise caused by the long path of a weak signal from the computer to the speakers. It was used in the jukebox of our old cover, since this jukebox has the amplifier outside the cabinet.

FUNCTIONING

This project is powered by a voltage of 12VDC and its input is the audio jack tip, that is to say that from a computer or cell phone we can amplify the audio and at the output we again have the output to headphones. This project works very well and has a good quality. very professional audio

The TDA2822M integrated circuit is a stereo amplifier in an 8-pin MINI-DIP package. Its most frequent use is in radio amplifiers, small game consoles, home computer speakers, among others. It can work with voltages from 3 volts to 12 volts DC. Of course, if we plan to use it as a headphone amplifier, it is not necessary to use such high voltages. 5 volts is more than enough. We can also feed it with the voltage from the computer's USB port. In the same way you can work with speakers and with the 5 volt voltage that the USB port of the computer delivers.

We will obtain an acceptable and pleasant sound.

The zobel network consists of a 4.7 ohm resistor and a 0.1 uF capacitor (104). These two components go in parallel to each output, and in series between the two of them.

On the other hand, the 10K resistor that is on the right side is to discharge the voltage when the amplifier is turned off and thus avoid long noises when removing the current supply.
