Sound waves and light waves. We wanted to show how they are interchangeable. Last year, during Festiwal Światła we took the analog approach. We used an oscilloscope as a Lightwave emitting device and we used an electret Microphone with a microphone amp circuit to convert soundwaves into electricity.

We called this installation Fala za Falą (wave after wave) and title was partly inspired by the words of the song by Alles: https://mecanica.bandcamp.com/track/fala .

This year, we tried to approach the same problem from a digital perspective. We knew we wanted to use LED strips for the visual part, but we weren't sure about the rest. Thankfully, the SeeedStudio Xiao BLE Sense came to the rescue as it's a nice small board with built-in microphone, among other things.
