In this game, each player has a button. They must press it 64 times to win. It provides an entry-level project for understanding microcontroller concepts and an introduction to the Microchip PIC ecosystem.
  • 1 × PIC16F18325-I/SL 8-bit microcontroller with 14KB flash, 1KB RAM, SOIC-14 package
  • 1 × USB B Mini PCB-mounted receptacle
  • 1 × 22k resistor 0805 package
  • 1 × 100n capacitor X7R type, 0805 package
  • 2 × 8x8 LED matrix module with MAX7219 controller From Aliexpress (search for FC-16) or build a DIY version (see my other project)

The checkered flag waves, anticipation 33win buzzing. Tiny racers, pixelated and bright, line up on a whimsical track. Buttons pressed, they zoom off, a blur of color against vibrant landscapes. Hearts pound with each turn, cheering for the lead to change, for victory in this charming sprint to the finish.
