This must have cost a fortune when new, but now as obsolete as analogue TV. Marked faulty, I thought I would have a look inside.

It is big...

The daughter board on the left has a ROM that seems to hold the patterns.

It uses an SAA1043 universal sync generator.

A module can.

An 8085, 8155, and EEPROM. The 8155 contains 2K of RAM.
