The aim is to design a low cost and small form factor switches, to control 12VDC appliances.

In boats, caravans and other 12V DC systems, there is requirement for a thick copper wiring, to power on board appliances. And with more complex systems, the amount of wiring adds up to a very considerate amount of money. The idea is to replace all the wiring to a single pair of adequate thickness copper wire. To control the appliance power (ON/OFF) a high frequency overlay would be used with micro controller controlled master-slave topology switches.
