I decided to start with a basic M4 / M16 / HK416 magazine for an airsoft aeg as well I have an ICS M4.  I have the basic theory of how the magazine is meant to operate plotted out and the first generation of the various components modelled up in sketchup (see images in this project). I will be reviewing these parts for any possible issues or points of failure. Hopefully early in September I can start printing and assembling the first prototype and then test it out.

  If all goes well with testing the first prototype, i will upload the 3d parts for others to download and print,  hopefully the cost of printing will turn out cheaper than the magazines on the market.

SIDE NOTE

  i really would like to use a normal spring to feed the bb's but I cant find where to buy them anywhere for a good price.
