Solved battery issue

Using "Gauntlet" (1988/1987) an old handheld game from Tiger electronics as a shell, I want to make a functional pi0 retropi machine

I wanted to keep the original battery tray, but have a lot more rechargeable power going through it.

I'll get this battery:

Split open the package, bend it until the two are end-to-end, and slice a hole in the middle battery tray for the red/black cord.
