I made a little gadget to add midi to a simple cheap synthesiser, a Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator (PO), a while ago and finally put it in a box.

Here’s what it’s got:


1. USB Midi which lets you connect it to your computer/Ableton/iPhone and send sequenced midi notes to the PO or from a controller connected to the computer

2. USB Host to connect a midi keyboard/OP-1 direct to a PO without a computer

3. A multi-mode Arpeggiator which creates arpeggios from a midi keyboard plugged in to the USB host


You need to solder some wires to the PO for it to work but there’s no damage to the PO and you can play it normally just fine also.
