NAND Flash recovery??

Similar projects worth following
This isn't so much a project as a cry for help. I am at a loss as to how I can save the data on this SD card. Well.. the pieces of my SD card anyway. I have some very precious photos that I really need to extract. The NAND flash chips are both intact, a few of the pins on one are slightly broken/bent though. The controller chip is ripped. I had the "bright" idea of desoldering the remaining chip and resoldering them onto a new controller chip. Of course that idea sounds way too simple so I'm assuming it wont work. What methods can I use to extract the data from these chips??

I do things like these every day at work... of course there are different SD controllers out there but at least with the one  I know your idea should work. soldering both flashes on a new pcb with the same controller should bring it back to live. mind the order of the flashes!

extracting the raw data will be very hard as you don't know how the controller organizes the flash and you got multiple layers of software in between (firmware, filesystem, ...)
