Doing it all for the mane.

Testing with the servo saver removed from the Futaba S3003 was better & worse.  It didn't have any of the erratic swerves, but couldn't go without oscillating.  It needed triple the P, half the D & 1% lower bandwidth to get close.

The best results ever achieved were with the generic Tower Hobbies TS-53.  They didn't last long, even with the servo saver.  All of them are now broken & they're not likely manufactured, anymore.  They were good for pointing cameras but not vehicles.  The specs between the cheapo & the Futaba actually show the cheapo a hair faster.

The problem is the independent suspension had to go to lower the CG.  Past vehicles like this had a hard time steering.  Any bump sent them off.  Skid steering might help on flat surfaces.

Burned 3749mAH or 428mAh/mile, so that was unchanged.  Roll resistance remanes very low.  The problem might be in the transmission.
