Just getting started on this project, most of the hardware is off the shelf from HobbyKing.com.
The main frame is my own construction using carbon fiber golf club shafts, that I scrounge locally for dirt cheap. I cut and mitered the center joint, wrapped carbon Tow around the center joint and then laminated the carbon fiber web to strengthen the whole thing. Very strong.
I have been on hold for a few weeks, waiting for a friend to finish an upgrade of his CNC mill that I am using to machine the rest of the chassis.
