When I was young, I used to do hair wraps all the time; I decided it was finally time for an upgrade. This project uses LED sequins and a Qduino mini by Qtechknow (Quin Etnyre), which has onboard lipo charger, meter, switch, and is the perfect size to go on a barrette. I backed his kickstarter and have been looking for the right project since I got it.

The next step is to incorporate light sensors and/or an accelerometer, but it does work with some random blinking as it is.
