I am currently in the process of building a UAV controller based on the PiZero. It will eventually consist of the PiZero, LSM9DS1 IMU, LPS22HB Barometer, NEO-M8* GPS (Still deciding on the exact model depending on what's needed for RTK support), and a hopefully a few of these MEMS LiDAR scanners http://www.innoluce.com/
