Crossing the Hardware Finish-line
10/05/2020 at 00:39 • 0 commentsI globbed some hot glue on the USB cables for a bit of extra strength and adapted an old box design for use with this project and got one printed up. The lid is printing as I write this log.

It Verks!!
10/03/2020 at 20:10 • 0 commentsAt approx 15:00 local time we had the first successful test of the power load switch circuit.
For this PoC I'm using the user SWITCH button on the Itsy nrf to toggle the USB charging on and off when it's pressed.
Everything appears to be working successfully hooray!
Next step on the software side is to move over to using BLE to send the trigger to switch charging on/off.
For hardware I think I'm going to hit the USB cable wires with some hot snot for strain relief, print up a little box to stuff it inside of and call it good.

PCB is almost ready
10/03/2020 at 19:33 • 0 commentsThe headers and all of the wires are soldered onto the PCB. The only things left to solder are the load switch breakout and the input USB cable. After those we should be able to try it out!
