APL (A Programming Language -- yes, that's what it stands for) is an array-based programming language invented by Kenneth E. Iverson. I'm really enjoying learning it (and have a *loooong* way to go still) and I think you'd enjoy it too!
APL's distinct symbol set used for primitive operations requires a special keyboard layout, and this can be a barrier to entry for newcomers. Hardware desktop keyboards with APL keycaps cost way over $100, if you can even find them. And laptop users were out of luck... until now!
