We moved the discussion on github, but i will write here the conclusion for hackday users. Faican lights can be very easy flashed with external serial adapter. Just connect tx, rx, gnd and vdd pins to serial adapter and GPIO0 to ground. Pins are described in this picture:

OUDATED! new version is based on python.

Open official application, click Help and insert bridge ip. Check youtube video
