Ben Eater has done a really good video about turing completeness and touches on Turing's paper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqNDk_UJW4k
This is an absolute masterpiece! I'd love to build one. I assume this is a custom PCB?
The PCB is made with Eagle. Are you interested in the Eagle files, or the Gerber files ?
I don't have any experience with making custom PCB's but I would love to try!
Thats brilliant, using LEDs to jumper the instructions. I have never seen anything that simple before, awesome. :-D
I used this technique on the NAND 565. Nice result, but quite expensive because of the price of connectors.
Like a lot of hardware achievements. One should initiate an artistic movement, really.
This is awesome! I love the LED ROM.
Now I wonder why nobody ever made a Turing Machine IC :-)

I read Alan Turing's famous paper, but I have to admit I didn't understand it! Bamboozled by all the mathematical symbols and typesetting. One day I'll sit down with a fridge full of beer and grapple with it again. Maybe this gadget will help, I understand 1 and 0 and TTL.
